Welcome to the GRWIB Website!

Workforce issues in Somerset and Hunterdon counties are ever-changing and the WIB is here to anticipate the challenges. We provide resources to:
• Help employers sustain their businesses.
• Help employees better their career prospects.
• Help those out of work find meaningful jobs.

Through this site, you can access information on WIB services for businesses and individuals, as well as current labor market data and news.

WIB programs and services are offered at no cost to employers and job seekers. Our volunteer board of business, education, labor, economic development, and community leaders analyzes local workforce conditions and, accordingly, manages the use of federal funds that target workforce development. We partner with private and public sector providers who deliver development programs customized to the needs of the Greater Raritan workforce.

The WIB also oversees three One Stop Career Centers, two in Somerville and one in Flemington. Adults in job transition, teens and young adults exploring career options, or employers seeking support for recruitment, retention, or layoffs can contact the One Stops for expert assistance.

Thank you for visiting the Greater Raritan WIB website and for your interest in supporting economic vitality in Hunterdon and Somerset counties.
